We will become acquainted with the 'City of the Kings', Lima, in its colonial and modern sectors. From there we will head to 'the white city', Arequipa, where we will be able to enjoy its friendly atmosphere and its impressive views of the Misti Volcano. Afterwards, we will continue to one of the deepest canyons in the world, the Colca Canyon, passing through breathtaking landscapes on the way.
We will end up in the town of Chivay, where we will continue getting to know the attractions of the region.

Introduction at the airport of departure. Flight to Lima. Reception at Jorge Chávez International Airport and transfer to the selected hotel. Accommodation.
Breakfast. Visit to the Historical Center: Guided tour of the Cathedral, panoramic visit to the Convents of Santo Domingo and San Francisco, tour of the Plaza Mayor and Plaza San Martín. Tour of the residential neighborhoods of San Isidro and Miraflores. Visit to the Archaeological Museum, where archaeological pieces worked in metals and textiles, from the various Peruvian cultures that preceded the Incas, are exhibited. Rest of the afternoon free. An opportunity to sample renowned Peruvian gastronomy; visit the Barranco neighborhood, the birthplace of poets and writers (part of the literary route of Mario Vargas Llosa); or continue with the tour to more of the capital's attractions. Accommodation in the selected hotel.
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take a flight to the city of Arequipa. Arrival and shuttle to hotel. Free time. An optional visit to the Museum of the Andean Altars ('Altares Andinos') is recommended, where you can see the "Momia Juanita", a sacrificed Inca girl who was found at the top of the Ampato volcano, and who would become one of the best preserved mummies on the planet. It is also an opportunity to taste the wonderful cuisine of Arequipa or to stroll through its pleasant and colonial streets. In the afternoon, a tour of the so-called "White City", including the Convent of Santa Catalina, (a city within the city), the Plaza de Armas, the Cloisters of the Company (with an interior visit of the dome of San Ignacio), and the residential districts of Yanahuara and Chilina, where you can take in a magnificent view of the Misti volcano. Accommodation in the selected hotel.
Breakfast. Departure to one of the deepest canyons on the planet, the Colca Canyon. We will pass through Pampa Cañahuas near the Salinas-Aguada Blanca National Reserve, the Bofedales de Tocra and the "Mirador de los Volcanes", the highest point and best place from which to look at the biggest mountains and volcanoes of the region, before arriving at Chivay, departure and arrival point for visits to the area. Lunch. Transfer to accommodation. In the afternoon, optionally (for those staying in Chivay), you are offered the possibility of visiting the natural hot springs of La Calera (entrance fee not included). Accommodation in the selected hotel. The Colca Lodge and El Refugio hotels have their own hot springs.
Note: Don't forget to bring swimwear for the thermal baths and/or swimming pools. For those staying at the Colca Lodge or the El Refugio hotel, you will be able to enjoy the hotel's own hot springs.
Breakfast. We will head to a place called "Cruz del Cóndor" (Condor's Cross), a viewpoint from where you can appreciate the depth of the canyon and the bold flight of the condors. We will also visit the towns of Yanque and Maca and their colonial churches, and we will enjoy lovely views of the valley before reaching Chivay. Lunch. Continue to Arequipa. Arrival in the city and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take a flight back to the capital. Arrival and connection with international flight back to the city of origin.
