Chachapoyas is a city filled with history, wonderfully illustrated by the impressive archaeological settlement of Kuélap which dates back two thousand years. Its natural wonders are currently undergoing a period of revaluation, which is why, until a few years ago, the Gocta Waterfall was considered one of the highest in the world.
In this package we will be visiting the wonderful Archaeological Center of Kuélap, where we will become acquainted with the history of our ancestors while traversing its squares and walkways, each one of its hidden corners having a great story to tell. The following day we will visit the Gocta Waterfall, previously considered one of the highest in the world. We will reach it by hiking or on horseback through the forests, where we will observe the flora and fauna that our jungle is home to.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Lima
Our vehicle will pick you up at the airport to transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon you will enjoy our City Tour, during which we will go to the famous Parque del Amor (Park of Love) located in Miraflores, where we will take in a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and a guided tour of the Huaca Pucllana, followed by a trip into Lima's city center, where we will become acquainted with the Plaza Mayor, Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral and the Municipality, and to finish we will visit the Convent of Santo Domingo where the remains of Santa Rosa, the first saint of the Americas, rest. We return to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 2: Lima - Chachapoyas
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Chachapoyas. Our vehicle will pick you up from the airport to take you to your hotel in Chachapoyas. Accommodation.

Day 3: Chachapoyas
In the morning we will begin our tour through the famous citadel of Kuélap, an architectural complex standing on a crest of the mountain which will surpass all expectations with its gigantic wall constructions of up to 66 feet high, from where we can see tree-covered houses and temples inside the citadel, which are interwoven with bromeliads, orchids, ferns, mosses, mushrooms and lichens. We return to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 4: Chachapoyas
Early in the morning we will visit the Gocta Waterfall, where we will enjoy the privilege of observing the wonders of nature. We will walk for approximately 3 hours, entering the mountain forest along a pleasant path to reach the foot of the high limestone cliff from where the imposing Gocta Waterfall precipitates, at a height of 2,530 feet. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 5: Chachapoyas - Lima
Our vehicle will pick you up from the hotel to transfer you to the airport for the flight to Lima.
